I know I and a lot of other people would feel a lot safer here if we were able to flag a post not to be reblogged.

You see people request this a lot. Occasionally it’s fun to be able to share something sensitive with a small group of followers you can trust. Unfortunately, it’s clear that you can’t really trust all of your followers to respect your wishes not to reblog certain posts. I set my Tumblr not be indexed by search engines, because I don’t want my posts to show up in Google and whatnot. But once someone reblogs you, you lose all control of your content. I think if we had a “Not Available for Reblog” option for each post, the community could be a lot more fun.
