Please unhide Tumblr Short URLs
Tumblr is one of the Top 5 URL Shorteners on Twitter but have you ever tried to find the short URL to one of your posts?
You used to be able to see this in the sidebar IFF you had enabled Twitter integration. Then one day it vanished completely.
I wish that Tumblr would include the short URL in the sidebar as before AND make it easy for theme designers to use so it could be included in the post automatically. Something like {TumblrShortURL} would be lovely.
UPDATE 2010-03-04: I’m not sure when this was added but I noticed today that a “{ShortURL}” is now available. See the custom themes page.
